- Components include a header, message body, and buttons designed for specific actions.
- Components of a WhatsApp Template:
- Header:
- The header is the topmost section and supports media types such as images, videos, or documents.
- Note: Media can be added only after template approval.
- Message Body:
- This section contains the main content.
- Ensure clarity, conciseness, and adherence to WhatsApp’s guidelines.
- Copy Code Button:
- Allows users to copy codes (e.g., discount, referral, or verification codes) to their clipboard.
- URL Button:
- Redirects users to specific web pages (e.g., product pages, or informational resources).
- Phone Button:
- Enables users to call a specified phone number with a single click.
- Quick Reply Button:
- Provides users with pre-defined response options (e.g., Yes/No or time slot selection).
- Subsequent messages can follow based on the user's selection.
- Steps to Create a WhatsApp Template:
- Add Components:
- Include media for the header, message content in the body, and buttons as needed.
- Review for Compliance:
- Check for compliance with WhatsApp’s restrictions (e.g., file sizes, formats, and button limitations).
- Perform Quality Checks:
- Note: Templates cannot be edited post-approval.
- Submit for Approval:
- Submit the template via Peach interface and await approval.
- Using Approved Templates:
- Once approved, locate the template in the approved list.
- Add header media as per specifications and use the template for campaigns.
- Understanding Broadcast Campaigns:
- Broadcast campaigns enable the mass sending of messages.
- Prerequisites:
- A contact list in CSV format or uploaded on Peach.
- An approved message template.
- Accessing the Broadcast Campaign Tool:
- Log in to the Peach dashboard.
- Navigate to Broadcasts > Instant Broadcast or Smart Broadcast.
- Creating a Campaign:
- Name your campaign for easy identification.
- Click Create to proceed.
- Selecting Your Audience:
- Choosing a Message Template: Select an approved template aligned with campaign goals and audience expectations.
- Choose an existing contact list or upload a new one in CSV format.
- Scheduling the Campaign:
- Instant Broadcast: Deliver messages all at once or Split delivery over multiple days.
- Smart Broadcast: Choose Start Date and End Date (Minimum of 2-3 days Compulsory).
- Define start and end times for the campaign.
- Launching the Campaign:
- Review all setup details.
- Click Launch.
- Monitor the status: Queued - Awaiting deployment, Done - Campaign live.
- Tracking Engagement:
- Overview: Track performance metrics.
- Activity: Analyze engagement summaries.
- Responses: Monitor replies from the audience(For Instant Broadcast).
- Runs: Delivery of Messages split across a day.
1. Template Rejections
- WhatsApp templates are rejected due to formatting errors or policy violations. Review WhatsApp's template guidelines carefully.
- Correct any errors in the content, such as missing placeholders or inappropriate language. Create a new template after making necessary adjustments.
2. Cancellation of Smart Broadcast Campaigns
- After a smart broadcast campaign is launched, you can cancel its ongoing runs from the Runs tab within the Smart Broadcasts section.
3. Encoding Issues with CSV File Upload
- Encoding issues might occur while using Microsoft Excel for creating and downloading the CSV list.
- Use Google Sheets for CSV file creation and encourage customers to do the same for better compatibility.
- Preparation:
- Upload and verify contact lists in advance.
- Ensure message templates are approved.
- Audience Segmentation:
- Target specific segments for improved engagement.
- Monitoring Performance:
- Regularly review campaign metrics and respond promptly to audience queries.
- Scheduling Optimization:
- Consider audience availability and avoid off-hour messaging.
- Post-Campaign Analysis:
- Use activity summaries to refine strategies for future campaigns.
1. WhatsApp Template Creation:
For UI Apps: Templates should include a Flow button.
For AI Journeys: Templates should be set up with Reply Automation.
2. Smart Broadcasts:
If the customer has an AI agent setup, ensure Reply Automation is configured when sending smart broadcasts.
