Peach Apps

Peach lets you build, launch and manage app-like experiences directly inside WhatsApp. Businesses can leverage Peach to generate leads, onboard customers, complete purchase journeys, or build apps that simplify workflows for their sales and support teams, all within WhatsApp. This section covers the basics of building and launching apps to your WhatsApp number through Peach.

Apps in Peach take advantage of WhatsApp Flows. Flows need to be published to WhatsApp before it can be widely distributed or used by your users. To adhere to this, on Peach, you will have to publish an app before you can get others to use it.

During development, you can test the app, directly on your phone from your WhatsApp account. Once published, an app cannot be modified. You will be able to deprecate an app, and then create newer versions of the app, but changes are not permitted by WhatsApp.

Note: Peach allows you to modify certain data that your app relies on, like some labels, data for your lists (radio, drop downs etc). This is done automatically, so you don’t have to create new versions of the app just to update labels or text.

There are 2 ways to build apps on Peach - a no-code app or a low-code app. If your app is a simple form based flow, then no code is the right way to go. However, if you're looking to build an app that includes your business logic and validations, then you should go with the low-code approach.
